Roles, responsibilities, and skill sets:

ü  L1 support experience on Windows/Unix Servers, AD, Network Devices

ü  Good troubleshooting skills

ü  Fundamental knowledge of Networks

ü  Exchange/Lotus Notes, Database, Storage & Backup, Job Scheduling.

ü  Excellent Verbal, Email communication skills.

ü  Exposure to any monitoring/ticketing tool, VERITAS Netbackupand Backup Exec.

ü  Willingness to work in 24*7 environment

Work experience with the following:

ü  Any alert monitoring tool e.g.: Net cool, BMC Patrol, NNM, HP OVO, Tivoli etc.

ü  Incident, Problem, Change lifecycle process.

ü  Any ITSM tool e.g.: Remedy, Peregrine etc.

ü  Batch job scheduling.

ü  Start/stop backup jobs.

ü  Backup monitoring tools like Networker.

ü  Generating Reports through Dashboard, Remedy etc.
